| 19 JULY 2011 News from Aviation Paintings of the Year Exhibition: I had a positive start to the exhibition with 3 out of the 4 works I am exhibiting being sold on opening day. Received a 'HIGHLY COMMENDED' from the judges for the 'AVIATION PAINTING OF THE YEAR AWARD' sponsored by BAE Systems, for my painting 'Typhoon Surge'. Received a 'HIGHLY COMMENDED' from the judges for 'THE ROYAL AIR FORCE MUSEUM PRIZE' sponsored by the Royal Air Force Museum, Hendon, for my painting 'Typhoon Surge' I have been unable to exhibit for the last 3 years due to work commitments, so it is good to be back at the exhibition this year and to receive such a positive response. |
